Women Who Are Asian Immigrants is a series of painted portraits of immigrant women in the US, most of them Asian. Moving to the US as an adult, I experienced great changes and challenges. My personal experiences motivated myself to depicting a group of women who I belong to and share the similar experiences with. The paintings in this series are based on my interactions with the women who I interviewed with.
