As I travel rural Idaho, the mountains, rivers, and fields are full of patterns. Earth and water combine to provide many intriguing shapes. Ditches, canals, streams and roadways provide boundaries to plats where cultivated fields contrast with the surrounding natural habitat. While my paintings are abstract, I try to capture the essence of the landscape.
